Started in late 2018, Kāpikottai highlights the excellence and uniqueness of Indian coffees through traceable, artisanally roasted beans sourced directly from sustainable farms under forest canopies. The roasting is done by a Carnatic musician ensuring consonance in every cup, with a commitment to equitable supply chains, direct trade, and low environmental impact. Based in Chennai, it began as a home kitchen passion project to make specialty traceable coffee more accessible.
